I've been looking at tires for the Tundra, size 275/70r18's, and found the Suredrives at my local Firsetone facility. These appear to be made by Bridgestone but not finding them on the Bridgestone site.

My assumption is because the suredrive line of tires arent marketed or advertised and thats the reason for the lower price, since they dont pay the big bucks for marketing those units. Seems as if firestone or its subsidiaries may be the only places carring them.

Just looking for some lower cost tires for my daily that never sees off-roading or towing and thought these may work, especially if they are actually Bridgestone.

Anyone have any first hand experience with these?

Update - just got off chat with Bridgestone today. They are the manufacturer of the sureDrive line of tires

Other online searches, people have claimed they were made by Kuhmo.

Selling so much that they are on back-order and no date as to availability.
I specifically asked if they are being discontinued and he said no!
and that they are their highest selling line.

Based on that price and that Bridgestone makes them, for those on a budget, this may be a good option, if you can get them.

My local shop located 4 and are in transit, but i need to verify friday they came in,
not holding my breath though. Will see how this plays out.
