I need some advice. I'm currently running a spacer level kit with JBA uca's and trd offroad shocks in the rear on my 2012 double cab tundra. Alignment is spot on so my cooper discoverer at3's are doing great. Thing is I want a little more of a lift on my front end. I don't tow but every once in a while I use my bed to haul some things but in reality I don't make much use of the rake. I know for a fact that I can only do a 4" lift while using JBA control arms so i wanted an opinion on how I can get around that. Rough country makes a 3.5 " lift that would probably work to give me that extra height that im looking for since im barely leveled out right now. I also need the extra height so that I can run 33's whenever these tires go out, I was gonna go 34" but I dont want to butcher any sheet metal the 32.6" tires ive got on now scrub a little at time but for the most part they have no issues. I can't really find any good takeoffs as I want to change out the shocks either way, these have got 141 K on them and they ride like garbage with this big spacers. Just a heads up I don't offroad too much anymore and when I did we were going 35 down trails in the everglades the worst things i've encountered in this truck is just mud I luckily never experienced the coilover snapping but I rather be safe than sorry. The 3.5 rough countries have potential to me probably anything will ride better than my factory lifted suspension. If anyone has any advice let me know It would be helpful my truck is pretty reliable but those shocks have got to go preferably with a new coilover going in. Rough country set is priced at around 360 which works great for me.

You get what you pay for. It it was my truck I would choose something other than RC. Toytec has some good lifts that are priced well....but they do cost more than the $300 RC kit.

As far as tire fitment and lift needed see below:
Second Gen (2007-2013) and Third Gen (2014+) Tundra
    No Lift Kit
    Max tire sizes are:
    • 18″ rims: 285/65 R18 – 5/10ths taller and 4/10ths wider than factory. Trimming may be necessary.
    • 20″ rims: 275/60 R20 – one inch taller but same width as factory
    1.5 – 2″ Leveling Kit (or less)
When installing a leveling kit, you might be able to fit some wider tires than what we have listed. It may require some trimming though, but it is possible.
    Max tire sizes are:
    • 18″ rims: 275/70 R18 – One inch taller but same width as factory.
    • 18″ rims: 285/70 R18 – 4/10ths wider and 1.7 inches taller than factory. Trimming may be necessary.
    • 18″ rims: 295/65 R18 – 1 inch taller, 8/10ths wider than factory. Trimming is probably needed due to width.
    • 20″ rims: 285/60 R20 – 4/10ths wider and 1.5 inches taller than factory.
    3″ Lift Kit
With a 3″ lift kit, the options continue to get better. However, the wider the tire, the greater the likelihood of trimming.
    Max tire sizes are:
    • 18″ rims: 285/75 R18 – 4/10ths wider and 2.8″ taller than factory.
    • 18″ rims: 305/70 R18 – 1.2 inches wider and 2.8″ taller than factory. There are Tundra owners running this size, but trimming is required. Replacing the stock wheels with after-market 18′s that have less backspacing is recommended.
    • 20″ rims: 285/65 R20 – 4/10ths wider, 1.6″ taller than factory.
    • 20″ rims: 305/60 R20 – 1.2 inches wider and 2.4″ taller than factory. There are Tundra owners running this size, but trimming is required (it’s a tight fit).

I'm running 18" bbs factory optioned rims with a slightly bigger beefier tire than stock. Toytec is pretty nice but that something I'd go for in 2-3 years, right now I just want to replace these old worn out shocks and the RC N3 3.5" lift is nice because I won't have to run a spacer to have the stance that I have now and honestly it will probably ride better than what I've got going on now. Thanks for the fitment lift that is pretty helpful to have for my future purchase even though it'll be while until then since these tires are about 4 months old. They're 265/70r18 I believe 32.6" in height and about 10.8 inches width, I got them for the beefier side wall because I didn't want to run spacers. I don't plan on replacing these rims because they're in good condition and kind of hard to find so max I see myself doing in the future is 285/75 R18 with the N3 coilovers. Also if anyone can chime in on if the JBA uppers would work with spindles or if I am limited to a max 4" lift no matter what I do.

I have he Method 305NV with 25 offset and 6 backspacing with Falcon 305/65/18. Only thing removed was front mudflap or whatever that this is called. I have the 5100's up front set at 2.38"

I was gonna do the 5100s but I wanted to buy something that already came put together which is why im looking into the N3 coilovers. Also my truck is sitting similar to yours suspension wise but I wanted a little more height in the front which is why I like how the N3's have a 3.5" preset. I figured that little mudflap would cause rubbing not really sure why we have them on there.

Go for that RC, it doesn't break the bank and will give you a smoother ride. I'm using RC 6 inch coilovers with great results.

OEM uca, I'm on a 6 inch bracket lift which doesn't require changing the uca.

Nice I regret not doing a bracket lift because I can only do 4"'s of lift with JBA high caster uca's
