    Hi all,

I want to upgrade my shocks/struts and coils to add more capacity in the rear as I got camper shell and tools - 500lb in bed total, resulting in about 2 in sag in rear.

Don't do off-roading, and don't want to lift truck as park in the garage.

Spoke with Elka - they have shocks that won't increase lift but don't have HD coils to reduce sag.

Spoke with Dobinson, guy says that with any of their HD coils, truck will be lifted 2 inch minimum.

Does anyone know an HD coil that I can use reduce sag that WON'T lift my truck? Or will lift it as little as possible?

    Thx!

Have you considered Air bags or Timbrens?

If you're set on shocks and springs, what about Elka struts that give enough lift to balance out the sag? If they don't have HD springs it should be easy enough to adjust the coilovers to where your truck rides the way you want it. I'd go for the 2.5 DC Resi model for 0-2" lift. Sounds like that would balance out your sag if you set them for 2" of lift, and they are adjustable to keep your ride comfortable.

I'm a bit hesitant for the air bags and timbrens..

I get your point with Elkas but I thought it's best to also get the correct HD coil for the rear to help support the extra weight of heavy camper and tools, and not to leave this weight on shocks?

I was really hoping to find an HD coils for the rear that would not raise the rear for a big rake (avoid the lift in rear)

I wanted to keep the suspension as close to stock height as possible. I recently added a pair of CargoMaxx HD rear coil Model: 351-919HD and I tow a trailer with 400lbs of tongue weight. The 2023 DC stock suspension sagged with that weight and seesawed a fair bit while driving. The truck rides level now; smooth & seesawing drastically reduced with the new springs and it raised the rear end by 1/14 inch. I'm waiting for the front Cargomaxx coils to arrive and so I expect further improvements in road manners once they are installed.

    Looks good.

I'm getting new HD coils and sway bar installed Friday. We'll see how that works out..

How do the RR Coil Springs work? Did it raise the back of your truck much/any?
The ARB website shows these are for the older Toyota LandCruisers. Did they tell you they fit the 3rd Gen Tundras?

    BTW:
Truckspring.com sells the Dayton 351-919HD CargoMaxx coils, but told me their 'supplier' stated these do not fit 2024/2025 Tundras... of which I am guessing they just haven't verified the fitment. I highly doubt there are differences in the fitment of coils for 2022-2025 Tundras... the OEM p/n for coil springs are the same for 2022-2024.

I am installing the loadlifter 5000 ultimate air bags. i tow a 7Klb trailer with a 800Lb+ tung weight. It definitely sags the back of the truck and creates some un-necessary bucking and chucking motion. I wanted the air bags so i can pump them up when the trailer is attached and let the air out and have the stock ride when it is not. The ultimate version of the bags can run with no air pressure as it has internal bump stops, i can fully compress them with my hands with no air in them so they should not have much effect on the stock ride. Pretty easy to install. Reasonable price also. The physics of helper springs on shocks are such that if they help when loaded they must lift the truck when not loaded. The Timbren and Sumo (mondo bump stops as i call them) have reviews about making the stock ride more harsh and jouncy. The adjustable feature of air bags is what i like. I had them on my last F150 towing the same trailer and they worked great.

Hi, I never installed the OME rear coils. They've been sitting in my garage for two years.

I just got eibach 2r kit and arb rear sway bar installed few days ago, which includes their springs front and back, but I haven't tried driving it yet.

Finally had a chance to drive my truck with the new Eibach PRO-TRUCK-LIFT Stage 2R kit. I got new struts and shocks with coils front and back. Drives amazing now. I had black Hitachi Oem shocks for the past two years and those were just terrible! I could feel and hear every single small bump and pothole in the road. Oh I hate these black Oem Hitachi shocks so so much! New Eibachs soak up all of the crappy city roads very well, and uneven surface is almost not noticeable.

The question now... Will I fit into the downtown garage by my office...

Also got the afe rear sway bar installed. Had them set it on soft setting... Will probably try to change to medium.
