So in my never ending pursuit of finding the least worst way to carry my RTT, I ran into this http://tacomapocalypse.com/product/2007-toyota-tundra-mid-height-bed-bars/. They are very nice, built heavier than others, and fit perfect. These are a little spendy, but it took 11 days from order to delivery, and the owner told me he would do whatever wanted for an additional $75.00.

Just delete it, after the first vendor reply it’s not worth it. Just wanted to offer an option for those that use their trucks hard. My bad.:p

I think you misunderstood my reply. I was simply making a joke about "doing whatever wanted for an additional $75".

Just FYI The guy making these bought our bars and used to have them for his Tacoma
As for the pictured, those look like some really cold welds on there IMO :notsure:

I know. But as a good member, when a vendor comments first, I take heed.

    LOL!
I would have yours, but I’m not giving anyone my money 6-8weeks in advance for something that might be made. I think that lesson is learned... Make stuff, then sell it, none of this is custom fab. I pay well in advance for that. Welds are fine...

There's no 'might' with us, don't lump all other shops in with the recent news unfolding's from another company. We've been around since 2010, we've never taken money from someone and not delivered the product they paid for. Besides, we believe in under-promise, over deliver. If we exceed a lead time and someone requests an order cancellation(on non-custom work) we refund them in full on the spot.
Did you contact us to check on current cargo bar times before discounting us as an option? I do build a batch every 6 weeks or so hence the lead time listed, but we also over-build so there are extra's left over for some of the next orders that come in. A lot of our orders take much less time, but I'd rather state a worst case lead time than list them "in-stock" and still take a week or 2 to ship a product.
You've spent your money already and are happy with your purchase, thats great. As a welder/fabricator of 12+ years I do say those welds are definitely cold and likely lack fusion however.

No arguing, my goal was to have your bars. I tried many times, and got the exact same response every time. If you order(pay) today, 6-8 week production. Don’t be naive, ‘might’ can pick you at anytime, anything can happen. That is meant at no offense.

I think @Relentless has a pretty damn good reputation for delivering the goods.

Well, I didn’t start this thread for vendors to comment. It was to offer my friends another option I took a risk on. I don’t know, why don’t you both get out.

Sorry, didn't know vendors weren't allowed to comment.

I'll shut my pie hole now.

You make the same thing, and commented first, please... Don’t take it personal, lesson learned?

Right now, the vendor/fab world got rocked, and people are making a lot of assumptions and putting multiple companies together.

I’m sure most have gone over to TW to see how that’s unfolding. I have a feeling sales will be difficult on certain items moving forward.

Lucky for everyone on this site, we get along pretty good.
