The thing that scares me about aftermarket on the 3rd brake light is leaks. I remember, before joining the forum, looking around on scAmazon, at a time before sellers could request removal of unfavorable reviews, where most of the better looking and less expensive 3rd brake lights were littered with leak reviews.

So rather than give you a review on that one, I'll give some advice. Something you can buy on scAmazon but isn't sold OEM is a new foam gasket. If you choose to replace your 3rd brake light, be sure to (A) do a good job of cleaning out the old OEM foam gasket and surrounding area, (B) test fit the replacement housing to make sure it'll actually seal nicely, and (C) water test after you install with a hose.

For rears, just like headlights, DEPO, Eagle Eyes, and some say TYC are great alternatives unless you're looking for something different from OEM. In which case, IMHO, the vast majority of crap out there looks like garbage you'd buy at a flea market or AutoZone or something. Especially the blackout/smoked stuff. Toyota did a pretty solid job on the OEM design, I just wish they'd have made the RC/AC tail lights taller, like the DC.

Oh, and you apparently can upgrade semi-easily to the newer model tail light without the amber for your truck. Your truck already looks awesome, I think.

Not gonna directly knock anyone's style. Just not for me. I'd personally find a way to modify the OEM housings, I think. Your tricolors - I think - look hella better. But I've always been fond of having ambers.

I see that design and it looks like this to me, but a cheaper, more riced-out-Honda version.

For me, that makes the truck look like a 2010s Dodge or something.

But it's your truck, not mine.

Alright... if no one else is going to ask, I will. What's that thing on your spare tire holder?
