Tailgate came off the right side hinge as I was closing it

    There was a box so I guess it pinched as I was closing it. And the right side came off wtf he’ll .

    Left side looks like a black bushing is there , the right side nothing no bushing .
    Can someone take pic of the right side hinge plz

    2" RC Leveling Struts
    It's perfectly normal if you are worried something is wrong. The left side of the bed has a female bracket and the right side has a male one. The left side of the tailgate slides into that bracket and the right side has a C shaped cup that drops on the right once the left side is in place.

    Normal. Tailgates are designed to be removable.

    Yes and the bushing on the left side is probably the damper. It’s to keep your tailgate from slamming open.
