I've been told it's a common issue. Part of the handle assembly snapped (looks like pot metal) in two, now I have to leave the cover panels off so I can release the latches. It's simple enough to figure out I need a new handle, I can get one from Ebay for as little as $18, and Napa charges $141!!! I know I can trust the Napa part, but can I trust any of the others? I understand that sometimes you just get what you pay for, (I've wasted too much time on crap parts and materials) but there's a $120 price difference! I found a site I never heard of, a-premium .com that claims to do all the necessary R&D on their parts, etc. And their handle is only about $20.
So if you guys can recommend a good supplier for what should be a fairly simple repair, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

I say give the cheap part a go it’s only $20 if it fails you could go OEM

Yeah, I was overthinking it. Sounds like a plan.
