Manual says to use VPC approved ppo cleaner?

    huh?

was thinking just a good wipe down with alcohol, buff dry, apply letters.

how important is the temperature? Anyone instal lower than 21 degrees?

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Of course clean with rubbing alcohol, I usually warm the pieces up with a hair dryer or low temp heat gun before application. Prob the sheet metal as well. Hold them on for a while.

Clean it with isopropyl and you're golden. Not sure about the temp requirement, as I'm in FL... But I'd assume a little warmer would be better.

How about for removing them? Heat and peel? My truck came with the $89 chrome letters. Not a fan.

Yup. Use a hairdryer not a heat gun, dental floss, and GooGone to remove residual adhesive.

Dental floss and wd-40 also good for removing goo.
