Are there resonators on oem exhaust systems on these trucks ?
I ask cause I've eyeballed my underparts & exhaust and all I see is a true dual 2.25"
(2.13" on digital calipers) exhaust that's comprised of 4 oem catalytic converters, two parallel pipes going into a tank size muffler and exits with one 3" side pipe behind the passenger side tire. If I have resonators I'm blind AF...lol
I know what they look like I replaced one on our former Camry. Someone set me straight as to wether 5.7 Tundras come with resonators and if so where ??

Some years had a tiny one behind the muffler. Some didn’t. Ive run both tailpipes, seems the same

This is correct, AFAIK. The resonator is about the size of a football and it’s behind the muffler. My sequoia has one but my tundra does not. I was under the impression that higher level trim tundras often had them but base and SR5 typically do not. I’m not sure how accurate that is, but it makes sense to me.

Does anyone know which of 2nd gens had a resonator after the main muffler?
My 2012 RCSB has one that was sectioned out. it seems like the exhaust could more quiet. Maybe they were on these 126” wheelbase models only due to length of pipe and noise?
