Have any of you fellas/ladies added temporary fender flares to pass inspections and later removed them? I am looking to pass MD inspection and would like some ideas

Actually, I have heard of people doing that before.

Someone bought cheap eBay fender flares for around $100. Installed them. Passed inspections. And took them off.

Yes. In some states it’s against the law to have tires stick out too much outside the fenders. Usually in states/cities with a lot of dirt or gravel roads. The rocks get kicked up and can damage cars/trucks behind you.

No spacers Just +18 offset wheels. I do not know anyone with a tundra where I can just throw a stock set on for the inspection.

This might look ridiculous. But how about this? Just peel them off as soon as you pass.

So I found rubber material for like 50 bucks that I can just use the fender bolts to hold it on till after inspection. I'll see if I can find some at lowes tomorrow or if I have to order it online.
