Terrible Experience with Rokblokz Customer Service

Purchased a set of Rokblokz XL Mud Flaps for my 24 Tundra with the "3 factory lift kit and "35 Toyo Open Country Tires. I was having some issues with rubbing between the front tires and mud flaps (even after trimming them) and I was told Rokblokz could help.

After installing the Rokblokz front flaps I noticed that the screws stuck out a decent amount past the flap. I did not drive the vehicle but simply cranked the wheel to both sides to confirm clearance. The wheels very slightly rubbed against the screws. I immediately removed the flaps and contacted Rokblokz. I told them the truth that I did install the flaps to test the clearance however I did not drive the vehicle and the hardware was in perfect condition. Rokblokz told me because I installed the flaps on my vehicle I had lost the ability to return the product, regardless of the condition. They told me that I should attempt to sell them on Facebook Marketplace. Everyone knows that Rokblokz is overpriced, for that you would think they would have better customer service and a better return policy.

The issue of rubbing between tires and front flaps is common for Tundra owners who opt to upgrade their tires. I wanted to post this as warning for Tundra owners that are looking for a fix for this issue. Looks like Rokblokz is not the answer and I made a $200 mistake.

TLDR: Purchased Rokblokz XL flaps for my Gen3 Tundra to alleviate occasional rubbing between front tires ("35s with a"3 factory lift) and trimmed factory flaps. Flaps did not fix the issue and when I tried to return them (in perfect condition), Rokblokz told me good luck on FB marketplace. I regret trusting a company with such an awful return policy.

 

This is not any issue with Rokblokz. Their return policy clearly states the item can not be installed and then returned.

Problem is that you were not aware of that, didn't look it up, before purchasing. So this is on you unfortunately.

Products sold by ROKBLOKZ are covered by this Standard Return Policy and must be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund or exchange. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number, and freight charges are strictly non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Items are eligible for return only if they are unopened and in NEW condition. This means that items that are mounted, partially mounted or assembled are not eligible for return. Products received without an RMA # will be refused.

 

Yes Frank, I am aware. The purpose of my post was to warn other Tundra owners that have a similar issue, that Rokblokz is not the solution. I am also pointing out that it is a terrible return policy. How many customers try to return their product after a week? Do you think that materially cuts into their bottomline, if so the problem is not with me. I'm sure they appreciate you rushing to their defense though, hopefully they send you a 5% discount code. Have a nice day.

chill. I am not defending the company. I know nothing about them or their products or business. I only checked them based on your post and I easily found their return policy in a .03 second google search.
Nor am I discounting your pain/experience.

Just stating facts. Can't expect them to return installed parts when they specifically state they will not accept installed returns. Ill stay clear of your posts going forward.

Doublecheck his return policy before you do. A lot of dumbasses don't think to do that and then they get online and bitch about it.

 

Yeah, sorry if I'm new here. 35s are not uncommon for Tundras with lift kits. Just trying to warn Tundra owners with a similar issue that Rokblokz did not work for me and their return policy makes it an expensive gamble to try. Why is that a problem?

This thread says more about you than it does RokBlokz return policy, or their customer service.

You voided the possibility of a return.

but you should be aware....those 2 are the main dish. so filling up on sides may be a better option if you so desire. but there's always room at the table
