Texas…..Lease Purchase Tax Fraud by Dealerships

I knew this made no sense when it happened to me last year.
How can such a conservative state like texas charge us sales tax twice on our lease when we purchased it.

In Texas, you pay FULL sales tax UPFRONT when you lease a car.
When you buy that same car, you’re NOT supposed to pay tax again.
Turns out, banks & dealerships are keeping tax credits in our name and making us pay sales tax again.

Well toyota is on a roll…..turns out in one deal, toyota took out my transmission cooler and double taxed me when i purchased my leased vehicle. Called L&M in dallas and turns out they had a tax credit check in our name, smh unbelievable the scam that is ran by dealerships and banks in auto industry.
