Seeing more and more of this in VA. Tires sticking out 8, 10 inches or more from the truck. At least this one did not also have the rear squat that people are doing these days.

Roads were smooth and this truck was still riding rough and bouncing a bit- he was keeping speed down to maintain control. He certainly spent a ton of money to build a truck that drives like crap. I will give him some kudos for keeping it clean and detailed.

Yes, I don't get that either. A little poke outside the fender might look good and aggressive but when the whole wheel is outside then it looks like a pinewood derby car.

    Still rolling stock baby....
Its all for show, I get it, but I dont like the look, also the accelerated wear on wheel bearings, hubs and brakes will get the wallet fast. Also in most states that look can get you a ticket unless you have flares to cover the wheels.

Guy at work has a lifted and jacked F150 mall cruiser, his tires stick out past the fenders, those tires threw up some rocks one day and broke the passenger window and chipped paint on both sides of the truck, he now has fender flairs on LOL.... lesson learned.

Disclaimer, everyone enjoys they own truck the way they like it.

Now, for my real feelings :)

Makes me think how peeps (sheep’s) are. One dumbass had a dumb idea, and the rest of a sheep followed. This is the modern-era buffalo jump for dumb buffalo. IMHO :D:hattip:

I have the exact opposite desire. To keep them tucked under the fenders as much as possible. Keeps all the crap from flying up onto the sides of your truck. There’s a reason this guy details his vehicle all the time. Every time he leaves the driveway he wipes out all his hard work.

We went camping this weekend and I would say out of the 50 or so trucks that were there, about a dozen or more had tires sticking out like this. It rained a couple times and the drive to the campground was over two miles on a dirt gravel road. There was mud EVERYWHERE on these trucks And I can’t imagine the amount of rock chips that happen. I thought it was illegal in some stages unless you have flaps or flares to cover

The Carolina squat/cali lean and stretched out tires to fit the rims have to be the worst trends for trucks I’ve ever seen.
