Observed in downtown Nashville this week. Are these cars prone to spontaneous combustion or something?

Yea, I too believe they're high theft vehicles due to how EASY they are to steal. Crazy how there's a sign calling them out very specifically.
Or the owner of the company hates the typical owners of those vehicles.:notsure:

This is the Nashville public library parking garage. Looks like they’re washing their hands of any potential liability for theft.

Would suck to own one of those models, you know the resale value is in the toilet.

I couldn't imagine how much it costs for insurance on those vehicles....and some are not cheap cost wise.

Yeah, that’s gotta be it. You could never get every individual driver to sign a liability waiver every time they parked.

Sign says "for safety purposes". I have seen several stories of young teens too young to be licensed stealing these vehicles, so maybe there is some concern with them crashing and causing structural damage to the garage and or harming and possibly killing pedestrians.

They need to add the TRX to that list. That thing is apparently notoriously easy to steal. (According to the Joe Rogan and Colion Noir).

Most parking garages I've been in have a generic disclaimer about how they're not liable for thefts. If that's the reason for this, I can't see why it's required.

That's like when you go to a strip mall and some parking lot signs say for this store or that store only. Unenforceable and BS, park those cars in there and don't worry.
