Thoughts on 245/75r17?

So I picked up some gunmetal SEMA wheels off Craiglist a couple weeks ago and I am looking for tires. I want to get skinnies for gas mileage and to avoid wanting a regear. I found these Wrangler All Terrain Adventure tires from Discount for $138.00 a tire. What are your thoughts on these tires and size (245/75r17)?

You can get a less aggressive passenger tire that is lighter and has less rolling resistance if you really want to maximize the MPG’s. That’s a good size though.

I have the 265s and maybe you could save some MPG. Only comment is to think about your travel and replacing a damaged tire... In my case, that meant a large chain with stores in a lot of places... Happy trails.
