For about $150 more than the Rough Country 4.5" it come with heavy duty tie rods ends with the kit. I think that is main difference in cost between the two. When I lifted my 72 Chevy swb around 1977 it came down to SuperLift and Rancho, I went with the Rancho. Don't remember why, guess at the time Rancho was better known. Can't find many reviews for SuperLift but the Rough Country are all over the place. Trying to sway my Grandson away from a 6" kit and he is on a budget, think a 4.5" is best for running 35x12.50s than doing the 6" and tires look to small. Anybody running any of the Superlift products not counting their shocks?

Not seen anyone here running superlift. And he does not need 4.5+ lift to clear 35s. He can do a more cost friendly 2-2.5 lift and run 35s just fine with the right wheel offset.

    Never heard of Superlift.
Never cared for or seen good reviews of Rough country or OME lifts.
Always thought they were cheap budget lifts but I have not looked at them in several years.
Just didn't seem right for my 98 4Runner back when I was looking at options.

I like my Bilstein 3" front lift, CoachBuilder 1.75 rear lift which rides better than factory until I added firm E rated tires.
But I do sometimes wish I had gone higher.
I am running 34" tires stock width and stock 20" wheel.
Had to add spacers due to my SPC UCA's sticking out to close for comfort to the tires.
    Fun times.

Will I have a rough country 4.5 lift with front rough country struts no spacers. I’m riding on 295 65/20 (35.1”) no rub and great ride, I have about 140,000 miles on the lift now, no problems.68917F22-4247-483A-B07E-F8DE620255A7.jpg

What all did you have to purchase to do the 4.5” RC lift? I’m trying to put together a list since it doesn’t seem like they have a 4.5” coil over kit

https://www.roughcountry.com they have a 3.5 lift. I would skip it and get true lifted coilovers vs a RC setup. Good brands in the same price point are Bilstein, Dobinsons, OME, Eibach, Toytec. Check out the 2.5 gen suspension threads for tons of pics and info on setups.

I think RC needs to change up their 3.5” option because when you look at it it’s just a spacer lift, but when you open up the webpage it gives you the option of choosing spacer or true 3.5” cool over lift.

But yeah the 3.5” with coilovers is the kit I was originally looking at, but then saw that they offer 4.5” coilovers as well and just wondered what all I would need to do that job

I put the RC 3.5 strut lift up front on mine. And bilsteins in the rear. Also RC uca. I think it rides nice. I run 295/70r18 on Vision Rockers. Sorry, I don’t remember the offset. I have no rubbing since I took the front mud flap off and took the heat gun to the inner wheel liner. Didn’t have to do a body mount chop. 1E6326BE-56AF-4EB2-8C96-7D7081CB6B72.jpgBC26325A-96D5-4E82-9D20-A346FF69CAC9.jpg1E6326BE-56AF-4EB2-8C96-7D7081CB6B72.jpg BC26325A-96D5-4E82-9D20-A346FF69CAC9.jpg
