Most people here swear by @dirtydeeds exhausts. There are a few who went other routes but if you want the best engineered specifically for your Tundra, call Keith

I also recommend BAmuffler. I just installed the 6inch budget system a couple of weeks ago, it was easy and I love it.

Welcome new member. Dirtydeeds has the most common exhaust system. Check them out before you buy something you don't like.

Still no answers on my question. I do know that a lot of you guys like dirty deeds, but I was also asking if anyone has used the afe setup.

If your truck has stock exhaust manifolds and mid pipes you will want to use a tAilpipe that is 2 3/4” diameter. Not 3”.

3” diameter tailpipe loses low end torque pretty badly. I discovered this in about 2009.

DirtyDeeds/BAmufflers is the only system available for a tundra that uses a 2 3/4” tAilpipe.

Everyone is recommending that here on this thread to help prevent you from losing low end torque.

A lot of guys have tried to deviate from what I’m explaining above and regretted it.

Please give a call. I’m happy to help explain further. It’s my personal mission to make sure every tundra brother gets the perfect parts (no matter if it’s exhaust. Suspension. Or anything else for their truck).

I'm running that exact setup for asking about. It works for me also have the intake n pedal commander. Sound is not to overpowering.

Little late to this post, but I have had an afe exhaust on my truck. It was the single side exit. It sounded good but wanted it to be slightly louder so I dumped it at the axle. Has a nice real low rumble but is a bit louder in the cab. Unfortunately my commuter car took a nose dive so I am now stacking miles on my tundra. With that being said, the dumped set up is a bit loud for me at 5AM in my way to work. I have since put the stock set up back on. I am now putting my afe system up for sale. Lmk if you're interested. Thanks
