    Hi everyone,

I have a 2 inch Readylift Leveling kit installed on my truck and Im looking to get that big tire smaller rim look with some poke on my truck.

Im currently running 35x12.50-20 on the stock 2024 platinum tundra wheels. I am also currently having small amount of rubbing on my upper control arms when in full lock with the stock wheels. I figured an offset might help with and I really like the look of 0 offset but I'm afraid that a 0 offset may be too much and may cause rubbing on the fenders or else where and have the same issue but in a different area.

Anyone know if running a 0 offset on size 285x75 tires will work?(keep the 2" level in mind) Or anyone successfully running that exact set up with no rubbing? Or will I need any trimming done?

    Thanks in advance!

I just want to add that I understand that the tires are very similar in size but figured the thinner tire may help midigate rubbing.

Yeah you could just get a wheel with an offset of say +18 or lower and it would move the tires away from your UCAs. Or wheel spacers. Because the stock platinum wheels with the Lunar look awesome IMO. I have a 2 in level on mine and am running +12 17 in wheels with 35x12.5 tires. They rubbed the mudflaps but I removed those. I just need to pin back the liner.

I’ve heard all different things with different setups. They removed the metal piece sitting behind the wheel well on mine or it would have rubbed pretty heavy. What kit do you have?

The Lunar with those wheels/color looks very nice. Curious does the front now sit a bit higher then the back with that 2" level? I was thinking about going with a 1.75" RC to get as close to level as possible on my 1794.

    I'm running 35x12.5 on the 18" TRD off-road wheels.

I have a 1" wheel spacer and a 1.5" Procomp leveling spacer and I don't rub. No body mount chop, mud flaps are still installed and no cutting on the fender liners.

+20 to +30 wheel offset on a 12.50" tire width if you don't want any rubbing issues.

I run a 17X8.5 +25 wrapped in a 37X12.50R17. Zero rubbing even when going on trail runs, etc.

    What wheel?

I'm having a hell of a time finding an 8.5, not 9" wide wheel with any type of offset that would fit and actually compress into the wheelwell.

I love the look of the 0 offset wheels, but I'd like to save my fenders if possible.

I've known about the size similarities for years, but I never knew about the weight. That's massive! And to consider that you're saving money too makes it a no brainier! I just wish there was a similar hack for 37's.

In my opinion, the main difference between tires that are LT-metric and Flotation are the tread depth, shoulder block dimensions, and sidewall lug thickness. Tires with flotation sizes will usually have a deeper tread, bigger shoulder blocks, and thicker sidewall lugs, which means more rubber, heavier tire, and higher price.

The closest you're going to get to a 37" OD tire with an LT-metric is the Nitto Trail Grappler LT325/60R20 (35.6" OD and 13" width).
