Hey guys, I got some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T
    295/70r18 E rated tires

I have my pressure at 36psi, and when performing the chalk test, I still have some chalk om the outer edge of my rear tires. 36psi seems about right seeing other people's pressures. My fronts are at 38 and pass the chalk test fine. Should I try 32-34? When I put my tire size into the load calculator, it showed 35psi for these tires.

I run slightly smalled 275/70 E load. 35 was too low for my truck. At 38ish front/rear was better, but still had slight uneven wear, less wear in center. For my truck and driving, 40-42 in front and 38-40 in rear has been the best, even wear pattern and felt best driving. Around 35 was cushier feeling, but more wallow in turns and again- wear pattern was not as it should be.

You are in the ballpark, adjust up or down based on load and how you drive and check wear pattern every 500-1000 miles, you will be able to notice any changes in wear pattern.

Yeah that's the size I previously has, and ran 40 all the way around and had great wear. Im just surprised these bigger tires need less pressure. I just figured it would be about the same pressure for these, as my last set, and this set, are load range E. 35 just feels low I guess

When I ran them at 40 the outer treads weren't making contact eith the ground, I had a good 1in to 1.5in of chalk still on the outermost treads of the tires.

I just called Mickey Thompson, gave them stock size and stock cold PSI. Stock was 275/55/20 at 30PSI in front and 33PSI rear on my 2021 Platinum 4x4. I run 295/70/18 Baja Boss A/T now and tech told me to run 30PSI in the front and 35PSI in the rear. Definitely seems a little low? Tiresize.com says 35PSI for front and rear? Now more confused. Had Toytec Boss lift installed and ride is not great so trying to figure out ways to improve.
