Tire shop can’t align leveled truck. Any thoughts or should I go to specialty shop?

Took my truck to a tire shop, got 285/60 20 cooper at3 put on. They tried to align it but couldn’t it to where it needed to be, didn’t print me out a sheet, and told me to take it to a body shop to see if the frame is bent cause I bought it used. Wth. I know for a fact that it’s never been in an accident. Got this done Wednesday and I’m about to take it back up there Monday to fix the alignment or refund the alignment price. $90. Thoughts anybody ? Truck has been raised 2” rough country strut kit, and 1” back block ready lift. It shouldn’t need control arms, etc correct? Thanks in advance.

    Welcome from NY.
I would definitely get a refund since the alignment wasn't done correctly. Why didn't they provide the paperwork?
Is there a Firestone shop near you? They offer lifetime alignments.

To be honest, i don’t know why I didn’t ask, was just tired I guess. They closed at 6pm but didn’t get my truck until 730pm. We have plenty of Firestone around the Atlanta area. Thanks I’ll check them out. This was my first post. Thanks for the fast response !!

Agreed get a refund because they didn’t provide a service and go to Firestone. I had a truck with the exact same specs and had it aligned no problem

What spec couldn't they reach - caster, camber, toe? You need to get the paperwork and post it here before anyone can really say if the truck has issues. The low-end of the factory Caster spec is ridiculously low - so if your truck can't hit that with a small level, then I'd say its been wrecked.

I take mine to a commercial truck shop for the alignment when lifted not a run of the mill tire shop.

Well, you could level the truck by letting out the air at the offending corner(s) and then go from there .....Lol

How does it drive and feel? I had the very same lift done a month ago. The shop gave me the sheet for the Escalade in front of me. Mine drives straight and feels good. Slow turns in parking lots do fees different so I will be getting mine redone If the can’t give me my numbers(I’ve been trying)

Thanks for all the input guys. Got a refund from local tire shop and refund for balancing tires. So basically paid $265/tire for 285/60 20 cooper at3 xlt. Took to 4wparts, lifted truck specialty shop. No problem what so ever with alignment and then they told me my wheel balancing was off. So went and got a refund for that also. I really don’t like how soft the front is with rough country strut 2” kit. I’ll be looking for something different in the near future. The rear 1” block feels good. No rubbing issues now. Before the proper alignment, front right would rub plastic in reverse. Thanks guys
