I went with ICS and it's absolutely rock solid. Never once has to adjust it. I like it better than rago because it's easier to access under the mount to add more accessories without removing the mounting plate and I can still use the area for putting things in.

I've been using a proclip in each of my vehicles for several years now. It's a little pricy, but rock solid. In essence you'll need to order two pieces, one piece is the custom designed mount for your Tundra center dash and the other piece is a custom designed holder for your particular phone. The two pieces mount together into one unit. https://www.proclipusa.com/

Offroam phone mount (I bought the Tacoma one, worked great on my tundra vent).

Best phone mount I've ever seen/used.
    Super solid, no movement whatsoever.
    Easy placement and removal.
100% solid aluminum, no plastic junk.
Spring action on the jaw sliders.
Fits multiple sizes phones due to sliding jaws.
Love it so much I bought another to use in my wife's Subaru.
    10/10 would buy again.

Proclip on top can be used with phone. RAM on bottom has been good. Little rubber pieces work themselves off.20250402_150852.jpg

I've had nothing but vibrations with the vent mounts. I can't recommend them.

I swore off vent phone mounts after my phone overheated one time from the heater.

Another vote for Proclip. Keeps the phone out of your field of vision. Great adjustability of viewing angle. Zero function loss of the vent and with a iOmount from Klockwerks there is zero vibration. Like them so much my new Tundra is the fourth vehicle I have put them in. Not the cheapest but imo the best.

I have the Rago mount with the ics backing plate and tackform mounts. Works great for my purposes and very secure

I've tried multiple different mounts, and there's something I hated about all of them... I'm pretty dang happy with this little cheapo! Like $14 for a 2-pack on Amazon.

I've bombed down some washes in the desert pretty good and it stays put, the only time it falls off is if I accidentally hit the edge of the phone.

This is with the metal piece for the magnet inside my phone case, it would hold stronger if I stuck it to the outside of the case.

Yes but you can leave it wired up, at least I did. Pretty easy to do, just use a plastic trim tool and a zip tie to keep the HU from falling down and stressing wires.

    I had the same problem.

I went with Rago because I liked the look better, the combined that with a MagSafe charger. I am currently using the otter box head on a ram arm and with the right case it stays locked in tight even over the roughest terrain.
