I have searched and can't find an answer so I apologize if this question has been beat to death.

I have a 2017 SR5 TRD CrewMax. I want to dump the stock tires and get something more aggressive. I don't want to lift or level, I like the current ride and for the limited off-roading I do (mostly beach) stock height is fine.

So my question is what is the biggest tire I can go to at stock height? I have no problem doing a little trimming or running spacers if needed.

With 275/70/18 you may have to bend in the front skid plate on the edges to keep from rubbing (some have a slight rub with this size, some don't). I had this size (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on my previous Tundra and they looked and rode great. A lot of guys also run 285/65/18.
