Looking to get a tonneau cover for my 2012 double cab long bed. I want something easy to put on and take off and yet be relatively tough and nice looking. This would mainly be so that if we take the truck on a trip, we have a dry place for luggage. I found myself looking at the Lund hard fold and the Tonno Pro hard fold. The Lund is $60 more at $639. Then I saw something interesting when looking at the warranty for Lund. At the bottom, it shows 9 other brands besides itself, including Tonno Pro. Then I saw that both Lund and Tonno Pro say "A RealTruck Company". I am thinking as in realtruck.com maybe? So I am curious what the extra $60 gets me if I get the Lund cover when the warranty is the same and the description sure sounds like they are the same.

So I am close to pulling the trigger on the Tonno Pro at $579 but thought I would see what others think before I do.

Edit: I just went to the about page on realtruck.com, and you can scroll down and it shows you all the brands they own. Wow. Interesting how a lot of stuff I am buying or looking at is from one of the 28 companies in the list.

Looks nice, but it looks like they don't make anything for my truck which has an 8ft bed.

I pulled the trigger on the Tonno Pro. I found out that it is essentially the same cover as the Lund. But, when it arrived yesterday, the box was beat to hell and one of the hinges was snapped in two. Waiting to hear back from the company.

The sent out a new cover and a shipping label to return the damaged one. Kind of a PITA that I have to repackage the damaged one and take it to a FedEx location, but it is what it is. The box of the new one was in much better shape. It went on easy and I think it looks good. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
