Tonneau cover with bed rack

I made new extrusions for my backflip that are much more secure and has T slots on top so I can mount a rack without drilling into the bed. I finished the rack this week and bolted it all up. I’m very impressed with how sturdy it came out I have no noticeable play in the bed rails or rack.

 

Looks good but no gussets?

 

That’s why I haven’t powder coated the rack yet. I’m thinking about gussets with anchor points.

 

Am I reading this right... You made your own rails?! WOW, that's pretty cool. You gonna' sell them?

I'm kinda' surprised how few choices there are for running a tonneau and racks. I just recently got a Bakflip with the Elevate Rails so I can add the Elevate racks.

 

Yeah you read it right. I wanted the extra support of having 4 bolts per leg.
