I have a 2020 crew max and was wondering if there is a combination that will allow me to have a tonneau cover with a bed rack for a rooftop tent.

my top choices for covers are :
    Lomax trifold
    Bakflip mx4
    Peragon sliding cover
    Retrax pro.

I would like to run a KB Voodoo rack system or the new Billie bars for the strength capacity

I love the lomax and Peragon because they are easy to remove just in case I need the full bed length.
    Any thoughts ?

Retrax with the yakima overhaul is a pretty good setup. I have it and put 2 paddleboards or a tent up there. really wanted one of the more traditional overland racks, but yakima did a great job this one.

This summer I'm going with the Diamondback HD and probably the Frontrunner rack accessories, although Diamondback says that adding any aftermarket rack does NOT void their warranty, so you could add anything you want to that.

Rci bed rack with their tonneau cover adapters. But you have to use a roll up style cover like bakflip revolver series or a canister style roll up.

I took my rack off until it gets a little warmer, it only takes a few minutes to put it on or off. Left the bed rails in place. The bed rails run a little off from front to back due to the tundra bed, that may bother some folks. I'll try to get a photo. Happy with my set up so far. Nice to have the locked cover with the rack.

Thule’s TracRac SR and the rolling BakFlip tonneau covers are another option I’ve seen together.

Check the build link in my signature.
I’m looking at making a modified base plate for the Yakima HD to work with my TCUSA roll up cover rails, or get the adapter brackets from either Voodoo or RCI and the matching rack.

A friend at work has the VooDoo setup and it fits perfectly with his Diamondback tonneau.

I have a Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau with truxedo TS rails. I use old Yakima Control Towers and 78” round bars. I can’t roll up the tonneau with the rack on, but the rack comes off quickly.

The VooDoos squeak like a bat out of hell.

Take a look at the Vixtory4x4 rack. They have a short or tall option. Everything they make is solidly built. It also allows for a roll up tonneau.

@jemnoriega I'm running a Peragon cover with TracRac/Thule SR racks. I'm with you on the simplicity of the Peragon cover. More thoughts/opinions and pictures of the cover/rack setup at my IG post below:

I'd like to see everyone else's setups please! I'm actually considering changing up my rack to something that's more of a "system" vice just being a rack so I can have more options of mounting accessories and such. Thanks!
