    Hi All,

I saw someone ask on some other thread if a motorbike chock will fit with the oem tonneau cover folded up, but not removed. I don't remember what thread, so here's some info.

I have a 5.5' bed. Black widow no drill wheel chock:

It's about an inch too tall to fit under the tonneau cover. I cut about an inch off. Seems safe to do, nothing structural involved (not close to pin holes or anything like that).

I haven't put a bike in it yet, but i don't think the bike's front wheel will clear the cover with the chock all of the way forward. I put a 4x4 in front of it. seems like it'll clear. I might get a 4x6 just to be on the safe side. The rear wheel of the bike should still sit fine on the tailgate.

Had a similar issue with my dirtbike front tire on my last truck. Used a cinder block a couple times to shim the front tire backwards off the end of the bed. As time went on I eventually ended up just wedging it tight against the bottom of the tonneau and ratcheting it down lol. Held fine. But with a much heavier sportbike that isnt meant to be dropped...yeah the wheel chock is a smart move.

I have a sport touring bike and will be to end of tailgate wheelbase wise but should fit. Have an aluminum slide in section that keeps the bike almost completely off the tail gate.
