Anyone has a tool box that actually sits on the truck bed and if so where can I get one?

Many people do, but not me.

    Pretty easy to find.
    Google.
    Harbor Freight maybe?
    Some auto parts stores.
    RV shops?
Places that sell truck accessories near you like caps and hitches.

Thanks. I’ve been looking but couldn’t find exactly what I want. I want something that will sit in the bed so I can still use my tonneau cover. I found a few but either it’s too big or too small

I have never really looked into these myself; I did not even know there were ones that don't hang on the bed rails.

Are you looking for something metal and lockable?

My father has a locking folding cover on his bed and keeps some large plastic storage containers tied down by the tailgate for storage.

I just have a handful of small light unimportant items sliding around my line X bed lol.
I keep my tools etc in the cab, I don't trust any bed storage.

I need to get the backseat under seat storage system, but I feel they are way too expensive in general.

I’m a neat freak so I don’t really like to put stuffs in the cab. Lol. Plus I just want something lockable so I can put some essential things in it just to have it when I need it.

This was basically the same criteria I was hovering around with last year when I purchased my Tundra that came with a tonneau cover and the closest thing I could find for this was the Pelican Cargo Case series with their Cross Bed Mounting Kit if pricing of it all isn't out of your budget and if you don't mind a plastic/Poly material case.

Tractor Supply for this one but every company that makes boxes makes this same style.
