Is there a thread on here by chance with torque specs? I searched but didn’t see any titles.

I am replacing my rack and pinion along with both return and pressure lines from rack up to reservoir and to pump. I found a few different suggestions on the internet

I would need all the bolts associated with the rack itself including the little flare nuts for the lines, the bolt that holds the fitting to the power steering pump and the air valve thing.

also the two pinch bolts for the intermediate shaft as I had to buy new one as it was rusted into the old rack spline shaft. Thanks. You guys have been a huge help so far!!!

I personally invested in a Haynes manual many years ago and it has been invaluable. You could also have the FSM printed and bound with bookmarks for the sections most likely to be used. Handy having it in print in front of you when working on vehicles.

I downloaded a copy of the FSM. When I need to work on the truck, I look up the process Toyota uses, then find the torque spec page, print the spec sheet out, and carry with me downstairs. I've amassed about a dozen sheets of torque specs around the hsop and garage. Some duplicates, because I forget shit too easily.

I have always just used this for most everything. I really like the 243 blue loctite stick, but stuff that calls for Red i use Red. Very rarely i use green on stuff but i have it too.

EDIT: well crap i was hoping it would show up as a picture but its a dang download. Either way its a complete chart of every nut and bolt, standard and metric, along with their grades, and torque values. Its a real nice chart.
