After looking around for a bit and not seeing them done, debating with myself on whether or not to do the work, I finally got talked into doing it and last night this became the result:

My buddy and I took about 3 hours to do everything. Guess it could've taken less time but I was distracted by beer...

Looks good. Did you have the regular mirrors with puddle lights? Switched to the tow mirrors? I'm wondering because my stock mirrors didn't have lights (i.e. light wires already in the harness going to the mirrors?) and I might like to copy yours.

    Oh! Beer is good too.

No, I have an SR5. My OEM mirrors didn't have the puddles. For this, I had to run powers and grounds through the doors. Tapped into my LED bed light power wire so they turn on with my fob and fade with my interior lights

I have an 18 Platinum and came with the puddle lights. I’ve switched them out with the ones projecting Toyota Tundra on the ground. They look awesome.

Sweet puddles! I knew that the stock Tundra mirrors on higher trim levels had them but don't think I've seen any on the tow mirrors so it was a fun project to take on.

Nice!, What leds you bought? Guessing you had to pull the mirror glass out to run the wires.

Can you point out the location of the wire that you tapped into? Also what puddle lights did you use and where did you buy them? Did you also just drill a whole in your mirrors?
