Does anyone have experience with this specific size in this specific tire?

I'm hoping to move to 35x11.5r17 when my current E rated 285/75r17s wear out. Toyo only produces the ATIIIs for this size in a load range C, however they have a load index of 118 which is less than 300lbs per tire away from the E rated tires.

I generally prefer load range E tires on anything I'm taking off-road just due to the additional peace of mind the sidewall strength could possibly afford, but I love my current ATIIIs and would love to know how these C range tires have such a relatively high load index.

I have these tires on my 2011. I chose them because of the weight and it’s a wee bit more narrow.
I work my truck pretty hard with just life stuff and they have done fine with heavy trailers, off road, and lots of highway miles. I have a bit over 40k on this set with A decent amount left.
My truck has an arb bumper, winch, and sliders…it’s not real light.

Thank you, this is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for. Any pictures of them on your truck?

Thanks! I think you've convinced me. What offset are those wheels? Does the spare fit in the factory location?

They are +15 offset. Sits a touch outside the fender.
I run a worn down 285/75/18 when I carry a spare. It fits but I had to hammer the tabs back a bit.
It’s a really good option for a skinny 35. The Maxxis razr also caught my attention.

Thanks for the info. Truck looks great! My 285/75/17 spare fits in the stock location with no mods and looked like they're may have been just enough room to fit the 35x11.5r17.

These are definitely on the list for when I'm ready to replace my current set.
