When I was younger and dumber, I was on my way home from a concert in Phx going 85 in the slow lane of I-10 where the limit is 75. A turbo Passat pulled up along my door and stayed there a minute or so trying to decide if I was a cop. I decided to have some fun with him and punch it. He doesn’t hesitate and we’re up to 110 pretty quick. I start to pull away around 115 and leave him in the dust. Stay on it until it is just creeping 1mph every few seconds and get off it at 146. I get back down to 100 and he passes me still doing about 115. About 3 minutes later - he comes into sight pulled over by highway patrol. Poor guy thought he got played - I’m sure.

Why am I not surprised that you just leave your woody hanging out in the breeze for everyone to see?

Tires look nice. How do they ride?

most people don’t go white letters out.

    gives it that retro look.

    You better not be surprised;)

I like them so far. They aired them up to about 45, so I dropped them to about 38 psi when I got home. Did the chalk test too after and it seems I hit the sweet spot with 38psi.
They rode well though. VERY quiet like the factory Michelin AT2's did. They're 33s, so a little taller and 1/2" wider (275/70R18). Very happy with it all so far!:burnrubber:

The shop said they questioned it with each other and even almost called me to 2nd guess. I told them when I dropped it off to put them out and even left a sticky note on my seat to so that too (also to put psi to 38, but oh well). After I did they agreed it looked good to their surprise. Even a couple customers waiting told me how good it looked.
I think the retro style vinyl on thr "Toyota" in the grille and the white letters out is a nice nod to the retro yotas. I've seen a couple tundras and 4runners in lunar rock with it and liked it, so I pretty much knew I would on mine.

Wife and I took a moment to hang in the hot tub tonight for about an hour. Had to discuss some things, plus I was trying to ease some sore muscles. Nice evening until the bugs went nuts around 9. Good thing we had just finished up by then. Simple maple crown to sip on while out there

Not yet. I wanna get that tensioner sorted out and a re-tune for my elevation first. Then, yeah. I'll burn these brand new Michelin defenders off to get some Nittos on.

Less that 2hrs to go before I start another 3-day weekend... I've been a "lame duck" here for the last 2 months awaiting my transfer to another office. Just got confirmation that will occur on 9/8 so I've got 4 more weeks of this to look forward to:
