Toyota App connection on iphone to the vehicle

    I am a bit of a dummy with electronics, but I signed up for the $15.00/month app to continue using some of the features after a year (ie, gps & lock & remote start - which is another petpeeve of mine). The app says activate here - press & screen comes up to send code to the vehicle but it just spins & spins - no code or QR code. What have a missed here? This is a 2022 Tundra 1794 edition.

    Yes it's downloaded & shows vehicle, but before remote start will work it's showing an activate button on the app but it will never send the activation code from the vehicle to the app. I may have to delete the app and driver on the truck and start all over and see what happens. Didn't want to do all that if there was a simple step I was missing. The dealership was of no use over the phone. Thanks!

    My upgrade process was also a nightmare. Had to uninstall driver and reset. Also couldn’t get the nav screen to show me the QR code. “I‘ve completed app setup” also had no effect. This link helped me: https://youtube.com/watch?v=w8Im5P87oOY&feature=sharec

    Even had to go through the entire payment system twice, after which the vehicle wouldn’t register the change. Finally got it after 2 days of messing with it. Good luck! Get it together Toyota! This shouldn’t be this buggy.

    I keep getting the same message as @HeyMcFly . I deleted the app from my phone. Deleted the driver from the truck and paid twice for the remote start sub and still nothing.. I have noticed an issue with a couple other apps on iPhone completely unrelated to each other so maybe it’s iOS? The first was group me which wouldn’t load the conversations of co-workers then out of the blue they just popped up. Then the hospital I work at uses an app to clock in and for 2 days I’d clock in only to find at end of shift something was wrong. After 2 days a message popped up that an update was available but I had already checked for updates. Maybe something similar is happening with the app.

    They got me fixed up in 40 minutes. They eventually had me sign out of the profile on my truck, turn the truck off, leave it off for 1 minute then sign back in.
