    Just starting
Okay, so I go out to wash the Tundra this am. Roommate is parked next to me and I wanna get some room. So I hop in the truck to pull it up the 5 ft. Nope, Toyota slams on the brakes, tells me I can't move with the door open and to put my seat belt on. I"M GOING 5 FT! WTF?

Close the door, put on the seatbelt but it says it still won't release the parking brake. Even if I push the button. I gotta put it in park, then back to drive to move.

Get to my spot. I put the keys on the console since I don't want to get them soaked while I wash the truck. NOPE! Beep beep beep beep.... won't shut up.

Fine! Get the keys in my pocket and start washing the truck. Beep. (Doors locked).

    ... Beep Beep (doors unlock).

    ... Beep (door lock).

    ... Beep Beep (doors unlock).

... you get the f'n idea - continuous while I'm washing the truck for 15 mins.

HOW THE F DO I TURN THIS SHXX OFF????

Oh, and my keys were soaked in my pocket. When do I get my 2nd FOB?

Could it be that you were hitting the remote while it was in your pocket while washing your truck? I have a remote start function on my key fob and I have accendentaly started it while washing, working on my Truck. And my understanding that the new Tundras have a safty feature the you cannot move the truck with any of the doors open, that is a design feature and I am not sure you can disable it, maybe some other 3rd gen can clarify.

    What’s wrong with stock?
You can get around the brake when door open by putting the truck in park then moving it back to drive. It’s supposedly a safety feature.

As far as the key thing goes, I usually keep the keys on a table in the garage next to my beer while washing the truck. No beeps, and no wet keys.

The truck sensing the keys and the water hitting the handle make it think you're touching the door. My wife's Pathfinder and my previous Ram did the same thing. Just put your keys further away.

It’s funny half the people say too much electronics. The other half says Toyota get with the program massage seats auto drive auto park. Xyz has it!

Yet everyone still buys one and then bitches one way or another.

some cheese with that whine? Aisle 6.

My FOB rarely leaves the center console. I've never experienced any abnormal beeping while getting out of the truck, or washing it.
