It is sold by Toyota. And it is 100% designed, engineered, and manufactured by them.
Toyota says not compatible with TRD 3-inch Suspension Lift Kit, not Rave.

curious to see how they are gonna look like installed, but not being compatible with the 3" factory lift seems like a miss by toyota

Not compatible with 3” lift due to the stabilizer bar spacer in the TRD lift kit.
This oem recovery hook has its own stabilizer bar mount bracket and it mounts using the front bolt of the stabilizer bracket.

2026 at best with TRD offroad package that will then cost another $500 :)

its not that expensive IMO, if you want and need tow hooks, just get them now and we can move on

if the truck was 68,500 instead of 68,000 at the time of purchase, nobody would think different.

Obviously, it would be less (and better) if it was there at the build time, but just saying as it is what it is at this point.

at least they put it out and came through for the guys who need or want them

looking at the picture it appears to be, the trim piece looks plastic, so it will be a direct replacement for the existing one, with holes for the hooks pass through

Can't wait to hear that we figured out the part number for the plastic front bumper cover piece and that it's actually available for purchase separately.
...then, shortly after, Wescott/etc needs to make us a $100(or so) tow hook/point to work with it.
(1st one to the market is bound to trip over the orders as I imagine MANY of us would be highly interested)

Let's see how "smart" Toyota is re:all this, and how quick + craftly our/aftermarket community is!

Does anyone know what the part number is for the D rings and safety pins only. I like the look of them, but don't need the entire assembly. Hoping someone will sell them separately.

looks stout, I will say that

now after all that complaining the gen 3 has better OEM tow hooks than the gen 2.5 lol, :crapstorm:

toyota should have just had these to start, lawyers boned them on this one, glad engineers fought back and finally won

It’s really not too bad of a price; ask yourself how does it compare to the alternative like Nytop? Plus it’s OEM.
