toyota tundra external cd player-why it won't work in 2021 tundra

    2021red double cab tundra
    SCOUTRULES!
    bought 2 external cd players -both from AutoPart toys-first one did not work,sent me a second-same models.Customer service stated never had a problem withthese units working in a 2021 tundra.Talked to guy the dealership recommended to install or hook system to the toyota-he said these units do not work-any ideas on how to make an external unit play?
