    Looking at installing this
TU3- BEST SELLER! 3" Lift for 07 & UP Tundra
    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/TU3-BEST-SELLER-3-Lift-for-07-UP-Tundra_p_377.html#

on my ‘18 Platinum Crewmax. The front is gonna be 3” but Im not sure what to do about the rear and whether to go with 1, 1.5, or 2” in the rear. It states that 1.5 and 2” will leave the rear a little higher than 1.0 but I have nothing to gauge the look on. Does anyone have a picture of any of these lifts on their trucks?
Tell me what you think and what size rear spacer you would go with please.
    TIA, Glenn

If you want it level only then go with 1.0. ToyTecs' spec are pretty typical for height estimates.

What are you wanting in a life? Comfort? Off road? You can always get shackles for the rear. With TSS, you’ll need the rake.

Also, with the above leveling kit it states I can run 35 tires. Will those fit on stock rims? I don’t have a clear understanding of tire sizes and what rims they will fit

    Hey Glenn!

So what we have heard from various dealerships and Toyota directly is the newer Tundras with the TSS package, you are going to have to keep rake on the Truck. So I would personally recommend keeping it at least 3'' in the front end and 1.5''-2'' in the rear end to make sure your systems are all good to go.

    Thanks!

I wouldnt mind it being a firmer ride. I drove a SR5 fo0r a couple weeks before buying this Platinum. I enjoyed the stiffer suspension of the SR5 and noticed the softness of the Platinum when I bought it. Long story short, I like the stiffer ride and taller stance without going to crazy and keeping the suspension as close to stock as possible

The rake is primarily designed for when you load the truck down it will then sit level and not nose high. Now with the new TSS system that came out, it will keep the sensors aimed down at the road for the safety system to work properly.

Alright, it sounds like a 3/1.5 or 3/2 kit is in order. I need to read up on the TSS, I’m not sure of what that is. Learning a lot about these trucks.

Couple of questions, does the TSS system in your truck work correctly, any alarms or warnings after installing lift in truck?
Are the tires on your truck noisey on the highway or in town driving?
    By the way, beautiful truck
    Thanks, Glenn

If I install this lift/level system in my truck, does this pretty much obligate me to buying new rims and tires or can I keep the 20” factory rims and tires on there. My thought it may look a little goofy with factory tires. Any pics out there with factory wheels with this lift?

    A LOT... NEVER ENDS
This is a 3/1 procomp spacer lift/level. I have a 2 inch AAL I plan to put in to make my ass sit higher for getting the rake back (I personally like the rake). Yes rims will give the truck a whole new look but I like these rims so it's hard for me to upgrade

I like the stance of your truck and believe the 2” rear spacer will give you back the rake. Either way its a beautiful truck. I think I will go with a 3/2 setup

3" and 1.5" (shackle rubbed a bed bolt at 1") Ignore the exaggerated looking rake as on level ground it looks very level. Only showing you the weak looking rubber. I'm not replacing them until next year.Kevin.jpg

Ive read on several posts about the deficincies of spacers to the point I’m questioning whether I want to use a spacer type kit of go with the Bilstein adjustable shocks. I want whats best for the truck and do NOT want to damage anything. I am very well aware that good = more money and I am fine with that but don’t want to go over the top. I am a dailey driver with mild to moderate offroad driving during hunting season in the fall and also tow a 10,000 lb. boat during tuna season. Ride quality is important and a slightly stiffer suspension would be fine. What I dont want is the clunks and bangs of a ill fitted suspension alteration.
As posted before, the Toytec TU-3 vs. the Bilstein adjustable shocks. Would both be overkill in the front? If I did Bilstein shocks in the front would a spacer work fine in the rear or should I go with Bilstein shocks in the rear also?
Sorry for the vascillation, I just want to do this once and be happy with my decision.

I had a 3/1 spacer kit on my 06 that I had for 12 years and never had a problem. The dealer installed it. Am getting the same for the 18. Maybe down the road I’ll get something better but not worried about that now.

Me personally, I’d go with 5100 or 6112’s in the front and 5100’s or 5160’s in the rear. For lifting the rear, either shackles or maybe an AAL since you’re towing that heavy of a boat.

I have a 2019 that I want to put a 3inch level and the front and firestone ride rite airbags in the rear. Do I still need a 1 inch block in the rear?
