Screenshot_20180717-095017_Samsung Internet.jpg Thinking about purchasing the Toytec/Radflo suspension kit for 2016 Crewmax SR5. I like to have some rake on my truck. Should I also get the add-a-leaf to get that little extra lift or what and see how this kit works out?

Thanks. Do you run that kit? How do you like it?

Wasn't sure if I should buy separately and put on Dakar leafs or coachbuilder shackles

Are you going to be towing with the truck?

I didn't get that one no. I got the ToyTec BOSS leveling kit with shackles and SPC adjustable UCAs

I have the Radflo coilovers on the front of mine, and run the ToyTec shackle on the 1.5” setting in the rear with the Boss 2.0 shocks. The fronts were a little stiff at first because of the 700 lb coils, but they’ve worn in nicely since (I have around 9k on it). The front end feels planted and its not bouncey like the stock 600 lb coils were. Even without the front sway bar it tracks nicely. I’d recommend longer shackles in the rear rather than an AAL, unless you tow a lot. Unfortunately I don’t know of anyone on this site that runs the Dakar leaves. But definitely give ToyTec a call.

I plan on getting a travel trailer sometime but not in the foreseeable future. Trying to find that "perfect" solution. I'd like to keep some rake because I don't like the squatty look. Also am planning after market front and rear bumpers.

Maybe I should try the kit and see how it is. Can always upgrade. Would I need new UCA's? Thinking of spidertrax wheel spacers as well.

Honestly, in my opinion the full kit as is with our shackles, resi rears and Diff drop is perfect. Resi's will help prevent shock fade overtime when you are towing a load and keep good stability overall.

The shackles are adjustable (1-1.5'') rear lift.

UCA's are always a good recommendation to insure proper alignment spec the first time without any issues.

Shoot me a PM and we can chat more in depth about it!

    Thanks

    David

IMO a 2.0 shock doesn't belong on a Tundra. I feel the 2.5 is border line but again that is my opinion. :D
