2007 Toyota Tundra. Purchased used 8 years ago with BBS wheels and 305/50/R20 tires on it. No problems. TPMS light came on this year. Owner's Manual instructions do not work. Replaced bad TPMS sensor in driver front wheel with aftermarket. No joy. Replaced all 4 TPMS sensors with Toyota OEM # 42607-0C070. Discount Tire said all 4 new sensors work but the sensor light still stays on. I've tried resetting the system using the instructions in the owner's manual and the button under the dash. The instructions state turn it from Off or ACC to On, and then hold the button until the TPMS light blinks slowly 3 times, and then wait 7 minutes before turning it to the Off position. As soon as I turn the ignition On the TPMS light starts blinking and then turns solid after 1 minute. It does not blink slowly 3 times so it never goes into the calibrate mode for 7 minutes. Any insight?

Update: Since posting this I did more research and found there is a TPMS Monitor 89769-0C022 located in the passenger side kick panel by the glove box, and a TPMS Receiver [antenna] 89760-0C010 located in the overhead liner by the center back window. I replaced the TPMS Receiver antenna 89760-0C010 and the TPMS system works now. I followed the owner's manual instructions and it worked. The TPMS light is out. Finally!

Had the same problem on a Tacoma that I owned. I took it to tire shop with computer to train the new sensors to the trucks computer. Tire shop charged me $40 to do it and Toyota wanted over $100.

Hey I purchased the TPMS receiver off eBay. $65 I think. I forgot about this thread. All 4 of my Toyota BBS TPMS senser batteries are dead. I've been looking for the correct Toyota BBS TPMS sensors for a while now. Toyota parts doesn't know and BBS is non-responsive. And here they are in a topic I created 5 years ago. Thanks Dude for helping me find the correct part number! Now I gotta find aftermarket because $300 is ducking crazy!

If this thread is still relevant I have a 2019 Tundra that after changing from winter tires and rims to the summer ones the TPMS light wont go out. Discount Tire has tried twice to reset it and I have tried the reset button near the bottom of the dash. I would like to hear if this is still an issue. TIA

After Big Dan's Car Wash ripped the factory antenna off my truck I replaced it with an American made Amazon short rubber antenna and have not had a problem since.

This month, April 2025, I replaced all 4 of my TPMS sensors with stems myself. The batteries were dead in all 4. After replacing, I drove my truck to a local tire shop where they programmed my truck to recognize the new sensors. Within a mile the dash light went out. First time it's been out in 3 or 4 years. I previously replaced the TPMS receiver in the overhead back center as shown above 5 years ago. With my limited knowledge of the TMPS system after hours of research, it sounds like a sensor is not transmitting or the truck needs to be reprogrammed to recognize the TPMS sensors again. I recommend that you have a tire shop (not Discount Tire) verify all 4 TPMS sensors are still transmitting. If one battery is dead and not transmitting you will get a dash light. If all 4 are good then have the truck relearn the TPMS sensors using one of their overpriced TPMS handhelds.

Here is the sensors I used. The Dude reprogrammed them for me for free because it took him 4 minutes total and I did all the work.

Thank you for that info! I have all new wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors from Tire Rack. I am not sure that the shop that installed the wheels (that were already assembled from Tire Rack) did any reprogramming of the TPMS system. So I guess I would start there, and seeing if they could diagnose it if that doesn't work. Like are the sensors transmitting. After that maybe replace that antenna/receiver overhead back center.
