Not sure why... but my TC button is located in a stupid spot under the heat/ac controls instead of being next to the tow/haul button.
Its difficult to see and reach... so i figured on moving it up where it belongs next to the T/H button since there are already two empty spots available.

Has anyone done this yet on a 2020 ? and if so... any surprises or issues ?

As long as the wires are long enough, I don’t see how there could be a problem. If the wires need to be longer, it would be best to solder the connection points and cover them with heat shrink tubing.

Harness wasnt able to reach so I had to extend the wires.
Also threw another USB charging port in the extra hole.
Pretty simple job and now the button is where it belongs.

How did you “extend” the wires. How far was it off? Trying to get a better idea before I dive it.

Check the build link in my signature.
My guess is he cut and soldered them.

I do have the info on the necessary connectors to make an extension harness so you aren’t cutting up the factory wires.

Yep, just cut and lengthened the existing wires. No big deal at all.

Another project. I will say that where you put it is where Toyota should have put it to begin with.
