20240126_223538.jpg Thanks.. but i have already done this... nothing is listed at pin 6
I just tested the wire and it is 12v ignition.
Id really like to know why it isn't listed on the transfer case diagram.

Something else I’ve learned is that it helps to check previous years EWDs and do some comparison. They reused a lot of things within the same Gen without always fully documenting it. Through 2021 at least, the "running lights" are wired to the mirrors, but they are not shown in the EWDs after 2017.

The 2008 and 2007 4WD diagram show a "TL2" signal from the 4WD ECU to the Transfer Case that is that particular wire (connector D67). Why it is omitted from the 2009-2013 diagrams, dunno. Perhaps they were working through old stock on wiring harnesses?

In 2014, the connector shape is completely different for the same number, and there are even fewer wires running between the ECU and TC.

That is some interesting and scary stuff. I’ve got the EWD for my 97 LX450 and have used it extensively over the 15 plus yrs I’ve owned it and have never come across such a situation.

It’s rare, but I have seen it a few times now.
More often you’ll find an extra connector here and there that are for options your rig doesn’t have.
That’s very likely a similar case here - the 4WD ECU has a terminal and connector sending ignition power but the TC doesn’t use/need the signal for anything.

Yes. I’m familiar with extra connectors etc. On the dash of my 97 LX450 is an idiot light for a clogged air filter that markets in the Middle East had used.
