Has anyone replaced the original tank with a transfer flow tank even though they had a flex fuel truck? Transfer Flow states you cannot use their tank if you have a flex fuel truck.

I have a 2015 TRD Pro with the 26 gallon tank and it is a flex fuel. I have never put flex fuel in it and never will. Getting a camping trailer soon so I need a bigger tank.

I really want the transfer tank, but am worried I might cause an issue to my truck.

    Thanks
    Scott

I have it on my 2015 5.7 Flex Fuel. Not sure what's changed from when I got it installed but it was one of the first things I swapped when I bought the truck. Going on 9 years, never had an issue.

Yes... Having this issue right now with TF. I am looking to find someone that can give me a picture of their non-flexfuel emissions sticker to bypass TF's silly rule.

The above responses would have me question what was changed. One was dealer installed; the other doesn't know what was changed. I would look into fuel sending/ sensing units and sensors, fuel filter, injectors, ECM programming (air/fuel mixture ratios), spark plugs, etc. to verify what is entailed in using a TF fuel tank on a flex fuel. I installed a TF tank on my non-FF '07 Tundra. Loved it!

They don’t ask for your vin, just the emissions stickers.

I'm thinking about ordering the Transfer Flow tank and am curious what kind of range you guys are getting with it?
