I have a 2015 Sequoia w/ the TRD Big Brake Kit (that only fit under 20" wheels). Used to tow a heavy travel trailer through the mountains alot. Fast forward a couple years and its time for new pads & rotors.

Problem: I see multiple sites with the same part number for "Big Brake Kit" (or BBK) replacement rotors and pads... AND the same PN's used referencing "High Performance Brake Kit" pads + rotors.

So what are the correct part numbers that I need? And of course they're back ordered through Toyota so if anyone knows of a source, please advise. thanks!

    I bought:
PTR09-00150 "TRD High Performance Big Brake Kit"

    I think I now need:
PTR09-34073 "TRD Big Brake Kit Replacement Right Rotor"
PTR09-34072 "TRD Big Brake Kit Replacement Left Rotor"
PTR09-34071 "TRD Big Brake Kit Replacement Pad Set"

I just ordered from (eBay from SOS Performance out of Florida)
"Front Rotors Pair for 2007+ Toyota Tundra TRD Big Brake Kit PTR09-34070"
"REPLACEMENT FRONT PADS TOYOTA TUNDRA SEQUOIA 2007-2015 TRD BBK KIT PTR09-34070"

The thing is, I see also that ...34070 PN used to reference the (smaller) TRD Performance Brake Kit. I did a search and the only thing I found on BBK vs. High Perf. brake kits was from 2010. BBK requires 20" wheels, 'High Perf' could fit in 18" wheels. One last piece of confusion, a guy at my local dealer said I needed
pads PTR09-34100, left rotor PTR09-34072 & right PTR09-34073. 2 outa 3 aint bad is it? ha

Parts sites don't have a standard naming convention when delineating between the two.

Also references, TRD Perf. rotors are 323 x 32-mm & I've seen other site ref. the Big Brake Kit as measuring in the high 300's MM (390MM I think).

Did I order the right parts?
Why the change in part numbers and/or two names?

Thanks Ryan! And yes I think the different use of Names for the kits and parts is what's throwing me off, but I did read in a forum search something about Toyota changing the Part Number for the kit itself. I'll try and find that reference.

And of course once the SOS parts come in I'll post a pic of what came, next to the existing setup.

Hi everyone! Please help. I also have the TRD Big Brake Kit. I can't find brakes for TRD Big Brake Kit, part number is PTR09-34071. I place an order and get rejected because part number PTR09-34071 has been discontinued. Official stores ask for the VIN code of the car on which these brakes are installed. My car's VIN doesn't match because my car had different brakes from the factory.

    What can be done?

Do you need pads and rotors only, as replacements? The PN you mentioned is for the replacement pads (front, set of 4 pads).

Order from SOS like I just did! See picture attached.
