Sales guy quoted me $1473 for parts and labor on a new TRD OR. I told him he was not competitive and labor should be much less. His shop guy told him that there was a bunch of extra hangars and stuff to install. I wanted to tell him bullshit but the whole experience is turning rather sour with now. In fact I just sent his spec sheet to his nearest competitor. They sent me a letter early in the week offering $1700 loyalty cash. I told them today that I was about to put a match to it last night. Based on discount off MSRP I have an identical quote from another dealer. So where is my loyalty discount?

$75 - took my local mechanic less than an hour. You can do it yourself. It is really easy. Much, much easier if you had a lift too. I just was low on time, and was headed out of town for several days and wanted it on. A bunch of extra hangers? WTF? There is one extra (for a grand total of 2)! There are a lot of posts on here about how easy it is to install DIY. There is also some youtube videos too.

Do it yourself. Couldn't ask for an easier DIY

yep, that is everything I read. Not sure where this sales dude is getting the extra bracket stuff from. Probably his shop feeding him a line of shit so they can charge the sales department more.

There is an extra hanger, indeed, but that is to be expected considering you are going from one pipe, to two... But it's very easy to install the second.

$1100 for mine. (2015) You can usually talk the parts guy down. That's what I did.

Seems right. My kit alone was about $900.

Now they say that a full blown tech is installing. They backed way off when I told that they were not competitive.

Yep they said they would have a master tech installing exhaust. Makes no sense to me.
