Took the plunge but spent less than I thought…worked out a deal to get everything including tires and labor at the dealership. The ride is slightly more classic “off road truck” vs the SUV smooth ride of OEM but next time I’m in Ocala National Forest will be sure to put the new 5”+ of clearance, improved break over angle and more aggressive tire tread to the test.

Is the Trd lift the one that comes on the Trd pro? It fit 35’s with no other modification?

    Welcome…in this case NO.

This TRD OEM lift is a separate aftermarket one Toyota sells and installs (separate prices).

The Pro “lifts/suspension is totally different

    Hey all,
Spent $2700 after tax for the kit through Coggin Toyota in Jax, FL…but you need to buy online and have them deliver to the parts Dept and note that they don’t accept returns…but a crap ton cheaper than the listed $3900. The installation was less than the expected “20 hours of labor” so landed at $2350 at Coggin but heard that Ernie Palmer Toyota has done more of them and is running the install for only like $1500. I bought the Nittos on a buy three get one through Coggin and it landed right around the cheapest price for four I could find in the internet. Definitely get your tires to the dealership or through the dealership as they need them on the truck to correctly recalibrate all the sensors/cameras at the new height. All in all, I gotta hand it to the guys at Coggin as they really did a super solid job and I could tell they were proud of their work as they all came out to show me all the details in person when I came to pick it up.

Didn’t get before measurements but the both wheel wells now sit at just above 42” from the ground. My 5’ tall wife now has a hard time climbing in and is pissed at me!

Last note, have the kit delivered to the dealership you intend to have install as the kit is heavy as $hit…and if anyone is interested in buying my barley used (less than 8K mi when removed) Falken tires and the original TRD Off Road Suspension, I’ll cut a fellow Tundra Bro a deal but will be posting to sell online here soon…at my request, the dealership neatly packaged back up the original suspension into the boxes of new suspension and is ready to go!

What did you use to black out your door handles?

@FLTundra22 looks great, I have the exact same setup except with 285/65/20R tires and picked up my truck from the dealer with the lift installed. Curious do your tires rub at all? Mine rub quite a bit on the sway bar so I’m taking it back to have them readjust. Everything I can see in Toyota’s specs for the lift suggest that my tires should fit fine without rubbing so I’m thinking it’s a problem with the install or alignment.

please post what the dealer says. I have the exact same problem. My dealer kind of shrugged their shoulders and didn’t know why.

I put in 1” spacers and that mostly helps. But I’d rather not run spacers.

Any updates on this? I just picked up my truck last week from dealer. TRD lift installed by dealer, kept OEM 20” wheels and put on 285/65R20 Falken AT3 and have rubbing on the sway bar at full turn. Only got 285s because supposed to be no rubbing! Would have put on 295s if I would have known I would be tackling rubbing issues.

I have the same setup and tyre size (Maxxis RAZRs at 285/65R20). Had sway bar rub. Had install and alignment checked and it all checked out but still rubbed. Added 1" spacers. That caused mud flap and fender well carpet rub so removed the mud flaps and pinned back the carpet. After that it was all good. Good thread here with my alignment specs and what others have experienced.

I think you will find my experience pretty consistent this rim/tire combo and the OEM lift.
