TRD Pro Grill and Hood Bulge

    I'm new here and have been lurking for quite some time. Really appreciate the wealth of information available here and it has helped me make several changes to my truck.

    I've been doing some digging but not finding anything so hopefully this will stir something up, I apologize if I'm simply not finding it in my searches. I have the stock chrome grille and hood bulge on my truck (2017 Tundra TRD, extended cab, Limited Premium) and my shop has told me I can swap them both out with painted to match TRD Pro parts. I've called my local Toyota parts center and they're telling me nothing is available in the US and they have no ETA. I've found the grille on ebay according to the parts number provided by the parts dept but the compatibility function on ebay says these won't work on my truck, is ebay lying to me? Does anyone have any ideas on where to look for these parts? Both in Midnight Metallic or Matte black

    Sounds like your dealer was just being lazy or knew that you could get it cheaper through other sources.

    I thought those were the 2014 to 2019 without the sensor crap, but I guess it does have the sensor thing in the grille.

    I don't know anything about the cheap cover since mine doesn't have all that.

    I guess they don't have any more of the old style in black.
    This is the old-style part number if you can find one in black...

    Back in the day I had to buy a black one and get it painted MGM.
    They didn't have MGM Pros until 2015 or 2016.
    Had them paint my letters too..

    Yes the newer style Pro grille has the TSS mount. He can get the cheap Amazon garnish fornit.

    So as mentioned the 2018 and up has TSS. There are 2 Pro grilles. The one you bought is the new style. It has an area at the bottom where the sensor gets placed, and then a cover over it. The OEM cover is $300. Since you don't have TSS, you can get the $25 knockoff cover from Amazon.

    The other Pro grill is the older style (known as the 14-17) like I have on mine. You would not need a cover for this as the sensor is relocated (for us that have TSS) with a kit behind the grille.
