TRD Pro Grill damage?

Just got my TRD pro grill today and one of the plastic clips/prongs on the side was broken in shipping. I have already emailed the shipper to see what recourse I have but in the case they offer me some type of refund does anyone know if the two prongs/clips on the lower sides are significant?

I can't install this until XMAS so if I need to send it back I need to go ahead and get it going. If they are going to offer me a discount and that prong/clip won't make a difference then I can go that route too.

 

I had the same tab broken on my grill. I installed it and didn't have any issues. Between the rest of the clips and the bolts, it is secure. It has been over a year.

 

I had the same clip broken as well.
I used some plastic epoxy to repair it and it’s still holding up fine.
Pretty sure it would hold without that clip, but I’m ocd.

will see what the shipper says and go from there.

 

Mine was broken as well. Been installed for a long time.

 

This may be like the bent corner on the aftermarket console safe.
