So, I jumped on a set of the TRO PRO LED headlights during the BF sale with Toyota Parts website. Got them and it looks awesome on hand.
Just installed those this morning with my Taco Fiend, install wasn't that difficult, minus some parts that somewhat refuses to move.... and it was early, working in a parking garage ain't really ideal, but.....
Looking at the lights installed from the outside, excellent, looks aggressive and low-key, not super loud in the sense of being bashing. However, from the driver seat, I can barely tell if the lights are on (they are) and the white light sort of, fades/spreads out more than the halogen lights.
Just want to make sure if others are seeing this? Parking garage ain't that bright though it does have overhead light, but with my old set, it is very obvious that the light is "on". But the new set? I swear I can barely make out where the light is. Of course, I need to double check on the aim, but I should somewhat see some kind of "light" yet I fail to see....

Did you get the ihacker harness or any sort of adapter to go from your halogen harness to the led headlights? If your previous headlights were led assemblies, disregard

I did, sorry, forgot to mention that. I got the iHacker harness and plugged those in before securing the new headlights back on the truck.
Though, I think I forgot the driver side amber extension and it does make the passenger side amber look brighter (passenger side has the extension installed), but the main LED part looks, or lacks, pathetic....
I am trying to tell myself that it is just how LEDs are, but that's not true....

Hmmm then I got nothing. I was super impressed right away with the LED assembly compared to the stock halogens. I used the iHacker and had no issues. Check your wiring and hopefully its something simple.

Thanks, I guess I need to find a real dark corner in my parking garage to figure out if the wiring were mixed up when installed.....

    No issues with mine.
The LED light pattern is much better than the halogens.
Did you try pulling up to a wall or closed garage door after dark to set your leveling and beam projection?
You may have to set them independently and manually.
I remember one of mine was higher than the other.

The hi beams blow me away..

I have not had the time to re-aim it after install.
This was done prior to work, so we put things together and get it back in one piece before we were late for work....
I will try and find a dark corner in a bit and see if the leveling is completely off.... might be sky high for all I know, then it would make sense as the light is point up and spreading than down and pooling.

@1lowlife you were right, re-aiming it was the key.
My OEM was on 0 setting and after trying a dark corner and bring it down to 3/4, I can finally see the light.
I guess it is more white than I remember as the OEM halogen was more yellow-ish.
I will just use the leveling motor for now until I pull it again since I am missing one adapter from iHacker on the driver side I need to still get it in.

The procedure for aiming the lights is outlined about 2/3 the way down in the first post.

Are TRD Pro headlights different to 2020 Platinum headlights?

Should be. Pro lights have blacked interior - platinum has chrome. I got the platinum ones so it doesn’t look like everyone else’s running the Pros.

@AZBoatHauler stated the TRD Pro lights are 'blacked out'.

    Platinum.

It depends on your truck's color and what you want it to look like.
I'm not a fan of chrome, as can be seen in the pic above.

Does the TRD off road also come with the TRD pro headlights? Mine look identical and are blacked out.

2018 TRD OR SR5 were the exact same as the 2018 pros IIRC
