Has anyone on here traded in there PRO? Was the offer(s) good? Looking to downsize as I no longer need the towing of a fullsize and looking to purchase a house. First offer (only one) has been laughable at best.

Your LR pro selling privately would be your best bet.

I got offered $74k trade from one dealer but they sold the vehicle I wanted before I could finish everything up.
Toyota dealer offered $60k trade against a 24 pro they have incoming. That was an easy no.
    Vroom was at $51,030.
    Carvana was at $63,300.

Look at a used one and what a dealership prices it at. That's usually 15-20% over what they will offer on trade at a minimum. So, your $60K offer would mean they'll likely price it around $72K to sell. If that's what you are seeing on their used trucks, that's about what you'll get for trade.

Surprisingly both Toyotas I traded in last year got listed at a less than 10% markup on the dealers’ sites. Assuming they even got asking price that was way lower than I expected. Both were gone within a few days.

Knowing you, I'm guessing you drug them around by the testes to get the best trade possible and they just wanted the reminders of the trauma off the lot ASAP. :p

Trade in values can often be inflated as part of the shell game with numbers.

That's why you should never mention a trade-in until you've negotiated the new vehicle price, first.

It was honestly so easy it was a bit disappointing. They both started low then gave me exactly what I asked for on both trade and sell when I said no. I even kept waiting for the bait and switch in the finance office but it didn’t happen.
Either that or they got over on me so we’ll I didn’t notice.

Dealers are scared. All the manufactures including Toyota announced they will produce as many cars as possible. More than 2019 era. Dealers are worried the market is going to crash and they are stuck with cars. Just like their lots now have used cars that they overpaid for and the manufacturers dont care about used cars. They want to sell new and as many as possible. Mixing with horrible rates...Worse for used cars. Dealers are putting numbers on cars to protect themselves not if. But when the values drop like a rock. When the manufacturer puts rebates and incentives on new cars...The used cars are what is hurt the most. And that effects trade ins.

2019 was good. Got my SR5 Tundra way under MSRP, financed 0% APR by Toyota for everything, paperwork and plates included. Paid $0.00 at the dealer. With the inflation rate I feel it was a financial investment, not a loan.

If there really is a waiting list for Pro's most places still, private would be best bet as it would probably sell pretty quick for highest.

No one is mentioning what their mileage is...that's going to have some effect as well no?

Absolutely has some effect. I am at 11k miles. Mine was delivered in October of 22, but is a 2023.
