I guess i'm losing my google-fu or not searching properly because I can't find anything that spells out clearly enough for my elder brains to understand.

Crawled under my 2024 Limited today and looked carefully at the numbers stamped inside on the backside of the wheels.

    PT946-34220
    20x8JIS60

Obviously 20 is diameter, 8 is the width, and 60 is the offset. What isn't clear are the letters JIS and is it +60 or -60. I assume since the stamp doesn't show a positive or negative symbol it's likely positive but just want to be sure before ordering a new wheel set.

    Assistance greatly appreciated.

If you look at where the centerline of the wheel is is relation to the mounting face you should be able to determine if it is positive or negative. I don't know about the 3rd gens, but the 2.5 gen stock offset was +60. Going with a lower offset would move the wheels/tires outward and add poke. I wouldn't be surprised if the new trucks have a similar offset.

    Thanks @GODZILLA .

I have seen that or similar images in various threads and not until today did I realize I wasn't paying close enough attention to what was "street" side. I feel like such a dumbass because for some reason my noggin kept thinking left was street. Now everything makes sense. Yep, it must be +60.

    Thanks again.

Usually for Japanese wheels J denotes the shape of the lip on the wheel. IS means offset and is used instead of ET on German wheels. I don’t know what IS means though.

You would think that but it’s not.

“J” means a tire bead profile. The "IS" marking is used to define the wheel collar profile
