Tundra 22-23 Hood Replacement Carbon Fiber

    Tundra 22-23 Hood Replacement Carbon Fiber

    I need to replace the hood on a 2023 Black Tundra and noticed several ppl on the Overland trucks videos have been replacing them with Color Matching Carbon Fiber.

    Huh.. That's not a bad idea. How Much? They run about $1,500-2,500.

    Some said be careful to get quality hoods. They are tough, durable and of course very light. Some vehicles require Hood Pins.

    Don't get laminate where one layer of Carbon Fiber is laminated on top of fiberglass. They can separate, crack etc over time.

    The one I saw on a Sema Youtube video looked very nice.

    Has anyone on this forum added a Carbon Fiber Hood? Pics? Comments? Pro's Cons?
